Volunteer Co-ordinator - HOPE – South Wales

Agreement Type: Fixed Term Contract until 31/3/26 - 35 hours per week

Can you help us make Wales a great place to grow older? Help to meet the HOPE Project objectives by recruiting suitable volunteers within the region to deliver advocacy support at a community level and to support and oversee the establishment and running of a regional advocacy volunteer network, working closely and in collaboration with the local Age Connects and Age Cymru partners.

Must haves:

  • Experience of working with others to deliver successful projects and services.
  • Recruiting, managing and working with volunteers.
  • Knowledge of the issues affecting older people and carers.
  • Knowledge of local services in the public or voluntary sector.
  • Experience of coordinating and undertaking a range of communications, marketing and promotion.
  • Excellent administrative skills, ability to maintain systems, manage processes and attention to detail.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, work collaboratively but also on own initiative.
  • Experience of coordinating events such as meetings, conferences, workshops, and seminars.
  • Strong IT, data management and analysis skills.

Great to haves:

  • Ability to speak Welsh (Desirable)
