2010 Innovation in Care Award goes to My Home Life Wales
Care home programme wins prestigious prize
A WALES-WIDE programme to improve the lives of care home residents, staff and relatives has won a prestigious award.
The My Home Life Wales programme - which is run by older people's charity Age Cymru, received the ‘Innovation in Care Award' at the Wales Care Awards in Cardiff on Friday 29 October.
Claire Bottomley, Healthy Ageing Manager at Age Cymru says:
"We are all very proud of the My Home Life Wales programme which works with care home residents, relatives and staff to identify and share ideas that promote good quality of life in care homes.
"The Innovation in Care Award is acknowledgment by care professionals of the importance of the pioneering work of the My Home Life Wales programme and of the hard work and dedication of the team behind it."
