Have your say at our forum meetings

We’re holding two forum meetings this autumn, and we’d love older people from across Wales to join us.
The meetings are a chance to meet, have a chat over a coffee and tell us what matters to you. This time, we want to hear your experiences, ideas and concerns about staying healthy, including what support you might need to look after your health and stay active, and what might stop you.
We’ll also be talking about:
- Local services and support in the community
- Coming home from hospital
- Decisions that could improve older people’s health and quality of life.
You’ll also hear about the services our Age Cymru Network provides to support older people across Wales, along with volunteering opportunities.

Victoria Lloyd, our Chief Executive, said: “We believe that older people should have a strong voice in decisions which affect their lives. We are keen to hear what support older people might need to help them look after their health and stay active and what might stop them.
“During the meeting we will also be discussing services across Wales, what support is available in the community, coming home from hospital and what decisions could be made to improve older people’s health and quality of life.
“I would encourage older people to join us for what promises to be an informative and engaging discussion. This will ensure that older people’s voices are heard by elected decision makers.”
Every voice matters. What you tell us will help us speak up for older people across Wales, and make sure decision-makers hear your views.
