Bobble Day is coming

We're calling on the people of Wales to ‘bobble-up' ahead of a day of fun-filled fundraising next month.
Age Cymru's Bobble Day is taking place on Friday 8 February.
Members of the public can get involved by buying an Age Cymru Bobble Badge and wearing their wackiest woollies to work or school on Bobble Day.
Our Director of Income Resources Richard Nicholls says:
"Bobble Day is a UK-wide day of fun involving Age Cymru, local brand partners across Wales and our sister charities Age UK, Age Scotland and Age NI.
"Age Cymru has decided to mark Bobble Day 2013 by launching our very own green Welsh bobble.
"It has been inspired by our green hills, valleys and fields, as well as the large population of sheep that we have in Wales.
"A quality product, the Welsh Bobble has been expertly woven from the finest all-manmade fibres for ease of cleaning and is resplendent in a very fetching and tasteful colour that we have called ‘Bobble Green'.
"It‘s available - alongside a full range or purple, orange and yellow bobbles, from Age Cymru; Age Cymru charity shops; Age Cymru Enterprises offices; Age Cymru Sir Gâr; Age Cymru Ceredigion and Age Cymru Gwynedd a Môn.
"You can also buy a Bobble Badge from WRVS outlets at Llandough Hospital, Nevill Hall Hospital, Prince Charles Hospital, the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Velindre Hospital, Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr and Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda.
"So please get involved and support Age Cymru by buying a bobble and wearing it with pride along with your wackiest woollies this Bobble Day, Friday 8 February."
All money raised by Bobble Day will go towards supporting Age Cymru's Spread the Warmth campaign to stop older people suffering and dying needlessly in winter and make winter a better time for older people.
There are lots of different ways you can get involved in Bobble Day.
Why not make your own bobbles, hold a coffee morning or a hot chocolate morning, or even organise a sponsored winter walk?
