Wales's entry for the 2015 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World - Céline Forrest, is headlining our concert on 27 November.
The Swansea-born soprano is topping the bill at our ‘Spread the Warmth' festive winter concert at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
She will be appearing alongside Morriston Orpheus Choir and Howell's School Choir who will be performing classical pieces and seasonal favourites.
"It's a real privilege to be headlining the ‘Spread the Warmth' concert for Age Cymru, especially as it was my late grandmother who encouraged me to perform and sing" says Céline.
"She would always point out any music courses to do when I was younger and really inspired me to get involved with classical music and helped enormously with my singing."
The concert on 27 November is sponsored by Western Power Distribution.
Spread the Warmth is Age Cymru's annual fundraising campaign to support its work of making winter a better time for older people.
Says Richard Nicholls of Age Cymru:
"I'm very excited that Céline Forrest is headlining this year's ‘Spread the Warmth' concert at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama on 27 November.
"It's also a great pleasure to welcome back the Morriston Orpheus Choir and Howell's School Choir for what promises to be another night to remember at one of Wales' most prestigious venues."
The ‘Spread the Warmth' winter concert starts at 7.00pm.
Tickets are £10 for upper stalls, £15 for stalls and are available from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama - 029 2039 1391
